How? Because our friendly, experienced driving instructors teach a sensible, safe number of driving lessons each day, and this is easier to do with intense driving courses. So our driving instructors are always switched on. We send you to your driving test only once you've covered the syllabus consistently. We'll give you at least three mock driving tests before the big day.
But, here's the really good news. Chances are, you'll pay less overall, especially with intensive driving lessons. A lot of driving schools will charge you less per hour. We charge a little more. But don't rush off. Look beyond the driving lesson hourly rate. Some of those other driving schools could be making up their money with driving lessons you don't need. When you learn to drive with us, we'll give you an honest ongoing evaluation via our Record of Progress of how many driving lessons we think you need.
How many (intensive) driving lessons
will I need?
This is asked a lot, we don't mind answering it at all...........
but it's very difficult to answer!
The honest answer is governed by both your experience and as many
driving lessons as it takes us to a) go through the whole driving syllabus once b)
recap parts of the driving syllabus you found difficult c) have a couple of
mock driving tests and repair sessions to help you get ready for the big
day! d) drive around for 45 minutes with minimal/no intervention by
your driving instructor ....Allow up to 40 driving lessons if you are starting from
scratch, we can do it in less, especially with an intensive
course.
How long will it take to be ready for my driving test?
Regardless of experience the quickest anybody can go to test
from scratch is governed by two factors:
The length of time it takes to study/apply/pass the theory test, (only
when you have passed can you apply for your practical driving test) = 4 - 6wks
ADDED to the waiting time for going to the driving test
